Yoga & Mindfulness for Neurodiverse Children

Founded in 2022, Happy Yoga offers fun and engaging classes thoughtfully designed for the neurodiverse community, meeting each child’s unique needs through movement, mindfulness, and breath.

Led by Priya Gopalakrishnan, an RYT-200 certified yoga teacher with specialized training in Yoga for Special Needs and Vulnerable Communities, our sessions create a nurturing space where mindful breathing and movement work together to support growth and regulation.

At Happy Yoga, we practice adaptive yoga that meets every child where they are — following their lead, celebrating their strengths, and nurturing confidence, focus, and emotional balance.

TESTIMONIAL

What parents say about Priya, the Lead Teacher

"I started practicing yoga with my kid at Happy Yoga about a year ago, and I can honestly say that it has been an amazing experience. Priya is incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about yoga, and she creates a very welcoming and supportive environment that makes you feel comfortable no matter your skill level. I always leave feeling more centered and energized than when I arrived.

What I find unique about Happy Yoga is our instructor, Priya. She is extremely patient and spends time and energy in understanding my child and his unique needs and then designs her class accordingly to work on those needs. Her real effort to get to know students personally and then focus on their needs is something I value extremely highly. I am so grateful for everything she does for our kids, and I always look forward to coming to class with my child.

Overall, I would highly recommend Happy Yoga to anyone looking to improve their kids' physical and mental well-being. I find Happy Yoga to be an inspiring space that helps us focus and calms our mind after a stressful day, and helps us grow and thrive."
